Boeing got an order for 300 planes from a group of Chinese airlines and plane leasing companies, which is worth US$38bn. This is the first deal announced during President Xi Jinping's state visit to the U.S. and we expect deals for other industries would follow.
During an executive meeting of State Council chaired by Premier Li Keqiang, it was decided that development of electric vehicle recharging infrastructure and urban parking facilities would be sped up, by relaxing entry barriers and encouraging participation of private capital through sole-proprietorship or public-private-partnership (PPP) in such development. We expect these policy initiatives would give the sectors of new energy vehicles and lithium battery a boost.
