Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic, the company has been answering
the call of the CPC Central Committee, the State Council and the Ministry of
Agricultural and Rural Affairs as well as the local provincial and municipal
governments and doing its utmost to prevent and control the spreading.

Therefore, relevant personnel have been arranged to work in emergency shifts and
produce sodium hypochlorite, a disinfectant product against the disease, since January
25, 2020, which is the first day of the Chinese Lunar New Year.
As of the date to issue this announcement, the company has donated more than 200
tons of the disinfectant from its Jingzhou and Huai’an sites to local hospitals and public
administration and service institutions, strongly supporting the efforts of Hubei and
Jiangsu provinces in preventing the contagion.
The company manufactures chlor-alkali in both sites and sodium hypochlorite is
one of the products along the process. To alleviate the supply shortage and continue to
contribute to defeating the epidemic, it has made use of its capacity for chlor-alkali and
quickly shifted the focus onto sodium hypochlorite in order to meet the market demand.
It is too premature for the company to predict how much the future performance
will be influenced because the actual sales of related disinfection products are affected
by multiple factors such as capacity, marketing and epidemic prevention and control.
It is strongly suggested that investors keep informed and pay attention to any
